ZOE B&T is a polymer-reinforced zinc oxide-eugenol (ZOE) restorative material designed for intermediate restorations intended to remain in place for up to one year. It can also be used as a base under restorative materials and cements that do not contain resin components, such as amalgams, inlays, and onlays. The eugenol component acts as a thermal insulator and sedative for hypersensitive tooth pulp, and the material offers abrasion resistance and compressive strength exceeding 6300 psi when mixed properly. Each standard package contains one 25 g bottle of powder and one 14 ml bottle of liquid.
