IPS Empress CAD Multi is a highly aesthetic, leucite-reinforced glass-ceramic CAD/CAM block designed for fabricating single-unit restorations such as anterior and posterior crowns, partial crowns, and veneers. The multi-chromatic block provides a smooth shade transition and natural gradient of chroma and fluorescence from dentin to incisal, with a biaxial flexural strength of 160-185 MPa. Blocks can be polished to a high gloss without a furnace for efficiency, or glaze-fired for increased strength.
