The Hole Punch Pliers are used to create cutouts for relief of clear aligners around bonded buttons used for elastics. No need to attempt to attach buttons to plastic trays. The Hole Punch Pliers can also cut away plastic to provide soft tissue clearance to prevent aligner impingement of tissue. All SmileStream Instruments are made from surgical grade stainless steel.
