CoeCide XL is a 2.5% alkaline glutaraldehyde solution designed for high-level disinfection and cold sterilization of heat-sensitive dental instruments. It provides broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity against bacteria, fungi, viruses, and spores, and includes corrosion inhibitors to protect instruments. The 1-gallon bottle is shipped unactivated; the included activator (158 g) allows one quart to be activated at a time for economy. Sterilization is achieved in 10 hours at 25°C, high-level disinfection in 90 minutes, and intermediate-level disinfection in 10 minutes.
