Clearfil Ceramic Primer Plus is a single-component universal adhesive primer from Kuraray for treating the internal surface of indirect restorations before cementation. It combines the original MDP monomer, which bonds strongly to metal oxides such as zirconia and to precious and non-precious alloys, with a silane coupling agent that provides strong adhesion to all SiO2-based ceramics including porcelain, lithium disilicate, hybrid ceramics, and composite resin. The no-mix, water-free formula evaporates easily without leaving a sticky film, requires no separate hydrofluoric acid treatment, and maintains stable adhesion properties during long-term storage. Each pack contains one 4 mL bottle, and the primer is compatible with Panavia V5 and other resin cements for both indirect restoration cementation and intraoral repair of fractured restorations.
