Microstone is a white ISO Type 3 dental stone with a fine particle size and dense surface, making it an excellent general-purpose laboratory stone. It is especially suited for processing acrylic dentures because it readily accepts tinfoil substitutes, producing clean, accurate results. It mixes at 28 mL water per 100 g powder, with a 5-7 minute working time, 13 minute setting time, 0.12% setting expansion, and compressive strength of 4,500 psi wet (1 hour) and 8,500 psi dry (48 hours).
