ResinRock is an ISO Type 4 resin-fortified die stone that blends synthetic resin with alpha gypsum to produce models with superior surface smoothness and high abrasion resistance. Its low setting expansion (0.08%) and excellent dimensional stability make it ideal for implant and complex restorative cases, and models can be scanned directly in CAD/CAM systems without a specialty scan stone or spray. Mixed at 20 mL water per 100 g powder, it offers a 5-7 minute working time and 10 minute set time, with wet compressive strength of 7,000 psi (1 hr) and dry strength of 11,000 psi (48 hrs). Supplied as a 33 lb (15 kg) carton in green; gypsum hardener is not recommended with this product.
