ResinRock XL5 is a resin-fortified, ISO Type 5 die stone that produces high-quality models with unsurpassed surface smoothness and superior abrasion resistance. Its unique blend of synthetic resin and alpha gypsum delivers an increased setting expansion of 0.20%, making it ideal for use with VPS and other rubber-based impression materials that can contract over time. The creamy, thixotropic mix pours easily under vibration and stacks readily; mixing ratio is 20 ml water per 100 g powder, with a 5-7 minute working time and 10-minute setting time. Supplied as a 33 lb (15 kg) carton in blue; gypsum hardener is not recommended with this product.
