Clearfil SE Protect is a two-step, self-etch, light-cure adhesive bonding system from Kuraray for bonding direct composite restorations to enamel and dentin. It combines the proven Clearfil SE Bond technology with an MDPB antibacterial monomer for cavity cleansing and long-term fluoride release that forms an acid-base resistant zone (Super Dentin) behind the hybrid layer. Each kit contains 1 bottle of primer (6 mL), 1 bottle of bond (5 mL), 2 brush holders (white and black), 1 mixing dish, 1 light-blocking plate, 1 outer case, and 100 disposable brush tips.
