The Root ZX II OTR Low Speed Handpiece Module is an optional upgrade that snaps onto the back of the Root ZX II Apex Locator, enabling simultaneous canal measurement and preparation. It features Optimized Torque Reduction (OTR) technology that automatically measures torque during file rotation and reverses the file 90° if the set torque value is reached, helping to reduce file fatigue and breakage. The module offers three OTR speed settings (100, 300, and 500 rpm) with three programmable memory modes, plus a Normal Mode with eight speed settings from 150 to 800 rpm and 11 torque settings for opening the upper canal. The kit includes a micromotor, contra angle, handpiece cord, handpiece rest, AR oil, AC adapter, pre-installed battery, foot switch, and 20 plastic sleeves.
