Ionosit Baseliner is a patented, single-component, light-cured base/liner material that combines the benefits of glass ionomers and composites. It expands approximately 1% to compensate for composite polymerization shrinkage, preventing marginal gaps, microleakage, and postoperative sensitivity. The material releases fluoride and zinc ions, is radiopaque, and is applied in a 1 mm layer between dentin and composite or amalgam restorations. Each pack contains two 1.5g syringes and 20 luer-lock tips.
