Ionosit Baseliner is a single-component, light-cured, radiopaque base/liner material for composite and amalgam restorations. Its patented MicroSpand chemistry expands approximately 1% to compensate for polymerization shrinkage stress, forming a "sensitivity shield" that seals dentinal tubules, prevents marginal gap formation and microleakage, and reduces postoperative sensitivity and recurrent caries. It also provides continuous fluoride and zinc ion release and can be used to block out undercuts in inlay/onlay preparations. Each syringe pack contains two 1.5 g syringes and 20 Luer Lock tips.
