6-0 Chromic Surgical Gut Sutures are absorbable sutures intended for closing wounds or the approximation or ligation of soft tissues. These sterile sutures are naturally brown, measure 18" per pack, and are made out of purified collagen-based connective tissues taken from the submucosal fibrous or serosal layers of sheep intestines. Chromic Surgical Gut Sutures are delivered using the special PS-6 needle with a cutting edge prime reverse point type. Chromic Surgical Gut Sutures have an absorption rate of 90 days.
