SS White Standard Operative Carbide Burs are precision rotary instruments designed for cavity preparation, amalgam placement and removal, and trimming of dental materials. Each #244 bur features a straight fissure head with a 0.7 mm diameter and 2.8 mm length, a 6-flute uncoated tungsten carbide tip, and a 19 mm friction grip (FG) shank for use in high-speed handpieces. Manufactured from tungsten carbide and high-quality steel through a specialized heat-treatment and welding process, these burs are autoclavable at 121°C/250°F for 20 minutes and are supplied 10 per package.
