The 3M™ Comply™ Steam Type 4 Chemical Indicator Strip 1250 is a paper strip measuring 0.625 inches by 8 inches, printed with a chemical indicator ink that changes from off-white to black when exposed to steam sterilization. Designed to monitor all 121-134°C (250-273°F) gravity and vacuum-assisted steam sterilization cycles, it indicates whether steam has penetrated to the point of placement, typically the center of a pack. Each strip is perforated at the center for use as a shorter internal chemical indicator if preferred.
