Prime-Dent One-Step Dentin/Enamel Bonding Adhesive is a 5th generation, single-component, light-cure bonding agent that combines primer and bonding resin in one acetone-based, hydrophilic bottle. It bonds composites, compomers, and resin-based restoratives to etched dentin and enamel, and is compatible with the wet bonding technique on moist dentin; it also bonds to treated amalgam, metal, and ceramic surfaces. After etching and rinsing, 2 to 3 coats are applied, the solvent is evaporated, and the adhesive is light-cured, providing a simplified single-bottle protocol for Class I through Class V direct restorations.
